Faculty of Arts, Deans office staff held a successfull staff meeting on July 5, 2013 in the Deans office. Deliberated during the meeting were issues related to the Faculies successes, challenges and the way forward. Teamwork, good customer relations, efficiency and competitiveness will be the Faculties key indicators.

The Associate Dean (FOA)  bid bye to two Soka University students, Hiroyuki Fujita and Kaoruko Abe . The students were on a year exchange programme, from August last year.

Prof. Peter Wasamba and Prof. D H Kiiru attended and presented papers at the international conference on African studies (24 – 27 April 2013) at Hankuk University of International Studies (HUFS), Yong-in, Korea. The theme of the conference was “Continuity and Change in Africa: Views from within and Without”.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students Affairs, Prof. Isaac Mbeche had a meeting with Faculty of Arts Heads of Departments  (HoDs) to audit the website and try to fill the gaps.

He took the HoDs and web champions through the departmental websites, identifying areas that needed to be strengthened.
